Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Rodney has a passion for helping to bring great ideas to market, and walking along side people and organizations to help them fulfill their potential. He is excited to serve PathNorth and its members as they seek to broaden their perspectives and dream bigger dreams. He began his career in Seattle and Silicon Valley where he worked in business development roles at Go2Net, InfoSpace, and Yahoo!. He helped launch the solar powered LED light company that spun off of Stanford University's inaugural course "Design for Extreme Affordability" -- a class that continues to develop innovative products that are improving the lives of the poorest of the poor. Following completion of an MBA at Wharton, Rodney spent a year working in real estate and then moved to NYC where he spent the past four years in advisory roles to hedge funds. Rodney is a Stage IV cancer survivor, whose childhood story was featured in the Children’s Miracle Network Telethon.
Rodney finds that so many of us lead over-committed, over-connected lives. Busyness is a badge of honor and we collect new contacts like baseball cards. An unfortunate consequence is that people can become the means rather than the end. PathNorth offers the chance to know and be known, and to ask the big questions – trading small talk for meaningful conversation.
